Reiki is an ancient healing modality where the practitioner lays their hands on the client and draws upon Universal Energy, otherwise know as Prana or Chi. The client is fully clothed, there is no body manipulation, massage, it is simply a laying on of hands.
This Universal Energy will allow the practitioner to ascertain where there is a “blockage of energy”. When there is an energy block, the Universal – Lifeforce energy cannot flow freely. Reiki allows for this energy block to be removed and flow freely once again, allowing the body to heal naturally as it is intended.
Many clients can feel the energy moving, or a warm, tingling in certain areas of their body. Myself as the practitioner I can often feel where the blockage is within my own body that is presenting within the client.
I often receive visions, colours, messages for clients which helps them to understand what the block is representing.
Most clients feel very relaxed and calm after a Reiki session. These sessions are available in clinic or distantly.
